Comments, Rules and Notes
|
Comments | The campsite is located on the banks of the Luangwa River, overlooking a stunning bend in the river with lots of hippos. There is also a rocky river bank side with a beach. Perfect as part of walking safaris. The site also overlooks a lagoon with an abundance of wildlife. When visiting the South Luangwa National Park, it is 9km to the gate. This part of the park is not crowded at all (like in Mfuwe) and visitors can really enjoy a full day without even meeting any other tourist. Walking safaris can be arranged when asked for at booking. Campsite is located in Game Management Area. Animals like elephant, hippo, lion & leopard roam freely. Guards available. |
