  • Comments: At Elephant Sands you can enjoy watching the elephants as they drink from the waterhole right in front of the lodge. We also have a wide variety of other wildlife for viewing on our 16000ha private conservancy. Relax at the waterhole and enjoy the abundance of birdlife and the serenity and peacefulness of the bush. With leopards and wild dogs as regular visitors you can be in for some excitement as well. This is an unfenced wildlife area where you can expect to see anything! Cool off in our swimming pool and slake your thirst at the bar while you watch the elephants do so at the waterhole. Electricity is run on a generator which is turned off at night; a torch is no unnecessary luxury if you do not want to bump into a browsing giant on your way to the bathroom!
