  • Directions to campsite: Drive out of Graaff-Reinet on the Middelburg road for 2, 5km. Turn right on the Erasmuskloof gravel road. Continue for 27km. Turn left at the Kloof-Karoo gate. Push the button and go in. Drive another 2km and turn left at the stone walls. From there you will see the directions for a further 3km to the campsite.

  • Comments: The campsite is situated in a beautiful kloof at the foot of the mountain that accommodates a pair of black eagles annually. You can see the nest. Between the mountain and campsite is a constantly flowing stream with rock pools for swimming. At night you can hear the flow of the water over the rocks.
