  • Directions to campsite: From Oudtshoorn: Follow the R62 towards Calitzdorp / Cape Town. Turn left after about 7 km on a tarroad to Volmoed. Follow the road for approximately 10, 5 km and turn right on a gravelroad to Paardebont. Minwater's signpost and reception office is about 6 km along this road on the right.

  • Comments: The campsite is situated on a lawn next to a small river (Moerasriver). Big campfires can be made in the fireplaces provided. The terrain is accessible for any vehicle and caravan. On site is an old millhouse that provides shelter during bad weather. The campsite is ideal for small conferences and other functions. Quadbikes are not allowed.
  • Additional Comments: Campsite on a farm next to the Gamkaberg Nature Reserve
